Audio production and post-production software

Lemonwater
Software for production sound and post.

Premix is downloadable software for audio production and post-production. Run it on the mixer’s machine to keep files offline. Or try the cloud intro — you upload, a hosted worker runs the same pipeline stages. Format check, labels, sound report. Not a model in a browser tab. The mixer stays on the job.

What Premix is

The SKU is the download: named-operator software on the mixer’s machine. The cloud is the intro — a paid upload so you can feel the packet before you buy the license. Same pipeline stages (ingest, split, repair, loudness, report). Not in-browser inference. Not a serverless GPU hop.

It does not replace the mixer, the utility, the editor, or the re-recording mixer. Covered craft who operate it stay covered. That is how we answer a producer’s union-compliance questions: the tool is used by the people already hired, not instead of them.

Every job writes a report. Format and channel analysis, labels, and any assistive cleanup of existing recordings are logged. Original tracks come back with the packet. If the software flags a channel, the results page offers a custom edit — Lemonwater in-house.

The process
01
Choose how files move.
Download is the SKU — files stay on the cart. Cloud is the intro — files upload to a long-lived worker. Same pipeline stages. Nothing runs in the browser.
SKU or intro
02
Inspect.
Container, sample rate, bit depth, channel count. Timecode-track presence is flagged. Originals keep their source metadata. The operator reviews labels before anything is a deliverable.
Human approval
03
Report.
A sound report and QC log ship with the files. Assistive cleanup of existing recordings is optional and logged.
Originals included
04
Hand to editorial.
Labeled ISOs, the report, and an optional editorial-ready reference stereo — not a final mix.
Prep, not printmaster
What the software does
Format checkLive
Container, sample rate, bit depth, channel count on production BWF/WAV. Timecode-track presence is flagged. Source metadata on originals is preserved.
Channel labelsLive
Report names channels from analysis (boom / lav / silent). Originals keep recorder metadata. Not an iXML rewrite of the source.
Sound reportLive
Written report of what was recorded, what was flagged, and what processing ran.
Assistive cleanupLive
Hum, clip, and noise treatment on existing recordings. Originals preserved; aggressive passes fall back.
Editorial-ready packetLive
Labeled ISOs plus optional reference stereo for the cutting room. Not a final mix.
Offline or cloud introLive
Download is the SKU — files stay on the cart. Cloud is the intro — upload to a long-lived worker. Same report, same labels. Nothing runs in the browser.

How your files are protected
Your files stay yours
You keep all rights. We process and return. Client recordings are not used to train models, sold, or shared.
7-day deletion
A retention sweeper deletes originals, working copies, and cloud exports 7 days after delivery. Download links expire with them. Premix is not a storage service.
A written report
Every job writes a QC report: inspection, labels, and any assistive cleanup, channel by channel.
Offline or cloud intro
Download to keep files offline on the mixer’s machine — that is the privacy path. Cloud intro uploads over TLS to a long-lived worker, not to the browser and not to a serverless GPU.
Payment security
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Standard files out
WAV / BWF. Original channels included. No proprietary containers, no lock-in.
